The salaried position as a postdoctoral fellow is a two-year full-time employment at the Department of Business Administration, Lund University School of Economics and Management, Lund. We are seeking a highly motivated person with a strong research portfolio and an interest in launching a successful academic career in an inspiring research environment.
Eligibility
To be qualified for employment as a postdoctoral fellow, the candidate must have a PhD in marketing at the time of application. The PhD must have been awarded no more than three years ago (unless the applicant has been on parental leave or leave due to illness).
Work tasks
A postdoctoral position provides opportunities for developing research qualifications as well as some teaching qualifications. The postdoctoral fellow is expected to manage his or her own research project(s) but also actively participate and contribute to other related research projects in the field of digital marketing and retailing. The position involves teaching corresponding to approximately 20% of full time.
Requirements
For appointment, the candidate must demonstrate a high degree of research expertise in digital marketing and retailing as well as in quantitative research methods. The applicant should also have documented experience of teaching in English at an institution of higher education of high international standing.
Assessment criteria
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of their possession of a PhD at the time of application and a well outlined research plan for a project in an area relevant to digital marketing.

The applicant’s ability to use their skills and experience to strengthen and supplement existing research and teaching activities within the School of Economics and Management will also be considered.
