Your team

MAXPEEM is a Soft X-ray beamline on the 1.5 GeV of MAX IV hosting a unique instrument for advanced surface imaging with structural, chemical, electronic, and magnetic contrasts at spatial resolutions in the nanometer range. The Spectroscopic PhotoElectron and Low Energy Electron Microscope (SPELEEM) can therefore support research in material science, nanostructures & quantum materials, and catalysis & corrosion, to name but a few, and generates high impact publications.

Would you like to work at the brightest lightsource in the world?

  • Managing instrumentation projects and reaching highest possible level of performance
  • Experience in control and/or advanced data analysis & programming
  • Manuscript preparation and scientific presentation

Below are seen as merits

  • Experience in development and/or operation of a low energy (photo)electron microscope
  • Experience in providing user support
  • Experience in related synchrotron or electron spectro/microscopy techniques

As a person you are independent and you have the ability to take initiative.

The work requires very good communication and interpersonal skills, and a solid command of English, both oral and written.

Appointment to a post-doctoral position requires that the doctoral degree or equivalent is completed no more than three years before the last date for applications.
