Lund University Visiting Professors Programme

Lund University invites expressions of interest for its Visiting Professors Programme.

We seek individuals eager to engage with our vibrant research environment, renowned for its academic freedom and democratic values. Our university hosts a significant number of international students and faculty, fostering a multilingual setting where English is widely spoken. As a visiting professor, you will experience Nordic academic culture, known for its high quality, flat organisational structure, and openness to collaboration beyond academia.

The Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology at Lund University are advancing across a range of disciplines, with a strong commitment to shaping the future of research and education. We warmly invite you to be part of our journey.

Lund University offers a robust research infrastructure. At the HT Faculties, this includes the Lund University Humanities Lab, a dynamic environment for interdisciplinary research and technological innovation. We are committed to integrating the humanities with the broader academic landscape of the university and actively encourage collaboration across disciplines—including natural sciences and economics.

We also manage Lund University Press, and would be delighted if your time here resulted in a short book proposal or similar scholarly contribution. This could be a meaningful way to document and share your work with a wider audience.
