The Centre for Environmental and Climate Research (CEC, http://www.cec.lu.se/) is seeking to recruit an Associate Senior University Lecturer in Ecological-Economic Modelling with a focus on ecosystem services. CEC has successfully developed integrated ecological-economic modelling, where economic and ecological models are combined to predict consequences of management and policy decisions on ecosystems. This development has resulted in multiple external grants and commissioned work, resulting in a need to further strengthen the modelling team at CEC. The appointee will be expected to play a key role in CEC’s modelling team, leading the development and use of ecological-economic models, in collaboration with researchers at CEC and within the Strategic Research Area Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in a Changing Climate (BECC http://www.becc.lu.se/), responsible for spatial models for land use, biodiversity and indicators of ecosystem services.

The teaching comprises courses on all levels within the field, as well as supervision of Bachelor, Master and PhD students. The successful candidate is expected to play a key role in building up active research, involving applying for external funding.
