Work duties

Research within the field of Statistical Mechanics, with focus on Soft Matter Physics. The work will include numerical simulations as well as the construction and use of approximate theories. Of particular interest is the development and use of approximate intermolecular and/or interparticle interactions, including potential of mean forces, that are utlized to construct coarse-grained models.

Qualifications

The applicant must, prior to the start of the employment, present a PhD exam, on a subject that is relevant to the application (see above). Demonstrated experience of theoretical work in a relevant field is a requirement. Previous research on intermolecular and/or surface interactions is regarded as a particularly strong merit.
