The division of clinical genetics and Dr. Marcus Järås laboratory is looking for an assistant researcher in order to complete a project that has the aims evaluate a new treatment for acute myeloid leukemia (AML). 

Work duties
You will work primarily with mouse models of AML and will perform intravenous and intraperitoneal injections on these. You will also work with RNA sequencing and blood and serum samples from the models. A large part of work is with leukemia stem cells.

Qualifications
To be legit to apply for this position you need a doctorate within medicine or what can be considered as equivalent, preferably with the focus area on cancer stem cells.

We also like for you to have previous experience within the following:

  • Previous work with mouse models of AML.
  • RNA sequencing
  • Prior work with leukemia stem cells.
  • Worked with blood and serum samples.

You need good knowledge of the English language, both in speech and in writing.
In addition to this, great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
