Job assignment

Analysis and interpretation of data from the ATLAS experiment, especially focused on searches for low-mass dark matter mediators. For being able to start directly and complete the assignment within the time-limited employment, the successful candidate must have up to date knowledge and skills of the software tools used by the ATLAS experiment and the jet trigger system.

Entry requirements

  • PhD in Particle Physics specialized in Experimental Physics.
  • An up to date solid knowledge and experience of analysis and simulation tools in the ATLAS experiment, especially in the jet trigger system.
  • Excellent knowledge in spoken and written English

Basis of Assessment

Ability to immediately start with analysis and interpretation of the data from the ATLAS experiment, and especially using the Trigger-object Level Analysis Technique.

The overall assessment will also take into consideration any personal capabilities that are of value to carry out the duties of the position well.
