The lung bioengineering and regeneration group at the Department of Experimental Medical Science is looking for a motivated research administrator that will provide administrative support to the research group in different ways.

Work duties

  • assisting researchers in identifying funding sources and ensuring full compliance to the source's regulations throughout the entire grant life-span,
  • preparation andreviewingof submissions,    
  • budgeting and budget follow-ups, 
  • compiling, analyzing and reporting data,
  • assisting with publicityand organisation of outreach activities (conferences, meetings, seminars, open days),
  • structured processing of correspondence, letters of intent and other research documentation,
  • creating and maintenance of websites, management of social media contents,
  • handling of purchase, orders and invoices, with strict observance of current university regulations,
  • ordering and processing of travels (current university travel agent & system: Via Egencia)
  • establishing new recruits at both university and in Sweden (e.g. accommodation, authorities, laws and regulations)
  • ensuring full compliance of your research group to the current university regulations,
  • providing other administrative support to investigators (e.g. assisting in recruitment process)

Qualifications

Requirements

  • documented experience of administrative/financial work
  • experience from service-oriented work
  • very good oral and written proficiency/communication skills in Swedish and in English
  • very good computer skills and experience with work including the Office package

Merits

  • University education or equivalent in economics
  • documented experience of administrative/financial work in the university and higher education sector or other public sector
  • familiar with the administrative systems used in the university, for example Primula, W3D3, Lupin, Kuben and others.
