Work duties
The work duties associated with the position mainly consist of research, teaching, course development, supervision and examination in the first and second cycles of study in political science. The courses deal primarily with public administration, Swedish and comparative politics and/or political theory. Teaching takes place in both Swedish and English. The position also includes administration linked to the work duties mentioned above. We welcome applicants whose research specialisation would contribute to one of the department’s research environments.

The applicant’s ability to independently plan, develop and implement research and education of high quality within the subject area is considered very important. The department has a collegial approach to work and sees the teaching staff group as a work team that is collectively responsible for the quality of education and for educational development. A good ability to cooperate and a willingness to work together in a group is highly valued.
