Post doctor in Molecular Immunology - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

JOB ASSIGNMENTS:

• Independently driving an ERC funded subproject with the goal of resolving the qualitative differences between fetal and adult B cell output using experimental mice.
• Sample preparation, execution and bioinformatic analyses of deep sequencing (VDJ-Seq and transcriptome profiling) using illumina MiSeq, NextSeq and 10x Genomics Single cell gene expression platform.
• FACS analyses, animal experiments, development of new assays, management of transgenic mouse strains.
• Manuscript writing, supervision of students, managing collaborations with other labs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education - requirements:

PhD in relevant field of developmental immunology.
Animal handling course (FELASA)

Experience and skills - requirements:

Sequencing
Immune repertoire profiling
FACS
Highly relevant experience in deep sequencing and immune repertoire profiling
Relevant bioinformatics analysis skills
Extensive experience working with mouse models B cell development and function expertise

Experience and skills – meritorius:

Oral and poster presentation at conferences
Publication without PhD advisor
Experience in single cell gene expression methodologies
International research experience
Research experience at the postdoctoral level

Personal characteristics:

Collaborative team player, detail oriented, independent thinking, analytical minded, dedicated.
