Assistant researcher center for translational Genomics (CTG) - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

The Center for Translational Genomics (CTG) seeks a assistant researcher who will be responsible for the establishment of  a single cell genomics platform as a part of its core facility services.

Work duties
You will be responsible for developing and optimizing methods, conducting experiments, and providing services within the framework of CTG's single cell sequencing activities. You are expected to actively drive this field forward by acquiring and applying new knowledge and technologies, respectively, as well as further improving existing methods of single-cell sequencing.

In this role, you will work closely together with  researchers at the Faculty of Medicine and with other specialists at CTG and provide expert knowledge and services in single cell genomics to researchers at Lund University and Region Skåne.

There will be some teaching in the field of single-cell sequencing as part of  the duties and there may also be some administrative tasks included, but these are not the main tasks.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a PhD in either molecular biology, biomedicine, biotechnology or equivalent. We would like you to have postdoctoral experience  in a relevant field, where development of single cell sequencing methods is highly valued. You should thus have great experience in both single-cell genomics and in next generation sequencing (NGS).

We seek you who can work independently, communicate well with others and have good organizational as well as educational skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is required and significant weight will be given to personal suitability.
