Sara Kalm and Johannes Lindvall, together with Frida Boräng (Gothenburg University) want to hire a research assistant to their project Migration and the welfare state in historical and comparative perspective.

Duties
The tasks consist in compiling historical data on migration policy, and inspecting already compiled data on the same theme.

Requirements
A curious attitude and ability to work with quantitative data are important, but a formal statistical education is not necessary. Some education in political science, or equivalent, is required, as is an excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of other languages, such as French, German and/or Italian is a merit.

Terms of employment
Temporary employment for 4 months on 50% of full-time, or by agreement. Starting as soon as possible.
