Work duties

The purpose of the project is to investigate the use of flexible automation solutions as well as digital and uninterrupted information management in building applications. The work involves cooperation with Germany and Denmark.

During the project period (2 years) work is to be done within the domains of robotics, configuration/mass customization and mechatronics, all above mentioned in connection to building construction.

Qualifications

  • Education: MSc level within the relevant fields, i.e. mechatronics with microcontroller programming and configuration/mass customisation in building construction.
  • Experience: experience from robot simulation. At least five years of work experience from building construction industry.
  • Very good skills in spoken and written English are required.

Other merits

  • Education: Simulation of production systems and production control
  • Experience: participation in research projects.
  • Ability to disseminate research findings both in oral and written form in Norwegian, Danish or Swedish and/or German is a merit.
  • Advanced CAD competence
  • Experience in project management

Terms of employment
Fixed-term employment, 2 years, 100 % Start date upon agreement, at the latest 2019-08-15.
