We require an expert in human hematopoietic cell development to assess questions related to rare somatic mutations affecting hematopoiesis. The project is a collaboration with Prof Jörg Cammenga, Linköping University in Sweden.
Work duties
To propogate human induced pluripotent stem (iPS)cell lines derived from donar/patients and differentiate them towards hematopoietic lineages. To characterize the iPS derived hematopoietic cells in various assays of hematopoiesis using in vitro differentiation and functional assays, surface markers, gene expression analyses etc.
Required education
PhD in hematopoiesis stem cell development.
Related post doc experience required.
Required experience and skills
Expertise in pluripotent stem cell biology and human hematopoietic development. Experience in culturing and differentiation human iPS cell towards hematopoietic lineages. Standard assays in hematopoiesis including CFU, FACS, LTC-IC etc.
Meritorious exmerience and skills
Experience in developing protocols and optimizing in vitro based hematopoietic differentiation from human pluripotent stem cells.
The applicant should be capable of driving complex projects independently, capable of working with collaborators, be very good at time management and have good communication skills.
