Work duties

The position is 80% part-time as statistician. You will organize and manage large record-linkage databases as well as cohort studies and surveys. You will perform multilevel analyses, propensity score methods, machine learning analyses. You will take an active role concerning data management and analyses within a collaboration between the Unit for social epidemiology and researchers from Spain. You will also prepare databases and assist with statistical analyses in projects conducted at the Unit for social epidemiology.

Qualifications

Necessary conditions

  • Working Experience with both the Spanish and Swedish socioeconomic (e.g., LISA) and health care register (e.g., Patient Register, medication Register).
  • Advance knowledge in software: Stata, SPSS, R, SAS, MySQL, Mlwin, Winbugs and Programming languages.
  • Languages: Spanish and English
  • Education: At least 300 credits including a Master in Statistic or similar plus specialized formation.
