This project addresses the synergies among simultaneously occurring threats by using long-term data, field studies and experiments to provide knowledge on how society can adapt and prepare to minimize effects on ecosystem services, such as drinking water and recreation, as well as buffering against severe alterations in future ecosystem functions. The work includes interaction with stakeholders and the communication is in Swedish. The research will be performed in cooperation with Sweden Water Research, Sydvatten AB and Länsstyrelsen.

The position will be at Dep of Biology/Aquatic Ecology and main supervisor will be Prof. Lars-Anders Hansson (lars-anders.hansson@biol.lu.se) and the co-supervisors Dr. Linda Parkefelt and Prof. Emma Kritzberg.
