Work duties
Develop x-ray photon correlation spectroscopy (XPCS) as a method to investigate dynamics of dense colloidal suspensions and protein solutions, systematic investigation of concentration-dependent diffusion and comparison with alternative techniques such as differential dynamic microscopy (DDM), evaluate possible radiation damage effects and develop approaches to limit them.
Qualifications
PhD in soft matter physics, considerable practical knowledge on scattering techniques, in particular XPCS, practical knowledge of DDM, practical experience with anisotropic magnetic colloids.
