Work Description The position will include mainly laboratory work and analysis in relation to T-cells and myeloid cells in cancer, with occasional administrative tasks at the department. The laboratory work will include e.g. handling patient samples, preparing those for flow cytometry and performing multicolor flow cytometry and sorting of specific cell populations. Also, analysis of RNAseq data will be included.

Requirements

  • University degree in Biotechnology or similar at master level or equivalent
  • Pratical experience of multiparametric (>9 parameters) flow cytometry for analysis of cells
  • Experience of preparing single-cell solution from solid tumor, for downstream analyses.
  • Practical experience of tissue sectioning, staining of such tissue specimen and of subsequent analysis using fluoroscence microscope
  • Knowledgable of myeloid cells, preferentially dendritic cells
  • Documented knowledge of bioinformatics as well as of methods of multivariate analysis.
  • Documented experience from quantitative analysis of omics data using softwares such as Qlucore, Matlab and Metacore.
  • Fluent in oral and written English
