Subject description
The position is intended to enable the implementation of a specific research assignment. This includes the development of methodology for carrying out calculations and modeling of diffuse scattering. Both literature studies of existing methods and implementation of code for quantitative calculations are included.

Qualification requirements
Applicants must have:

  • A PhD or equivalent research qualification within the subject of the position.
  • Very good oral and written proficiency in English.
  • Research experience in electromagnetic scattering theory
  • Experience in computational electromagnetics and programming

Other meriting qualifications
Experience in teaching and supervision at university level

Consideration will also be given to good collaborative skills, drive and independence, and how the applicant’s experience and skills complement and strengthen ongoing research within the department, and how they stand to contribute to its future development.
