Work tasks

The tasks include:

• Establishing pre-clinical in vivo models
• Cell Transplantation
• Molecular cloning and generation of engineered cell lines
  CRISPR based gene editing
• Histology and microscopy
• Analysis of single cell transcriptomics data

Qualifications

Requirements

• The applicant must have a PhD in biotechnology, biomedical engineering, stemcell biology,neurobiology or equivalent.
• Experience with in vitro and in vivo models of neural differentiation at PhD and postgraduate level
• Documented experience with work on pluripotent stem cells
• Experience with generation and use of viral vectors
• Documented experience with gene expression analysis, cloning and gene editing
• Ability to design and use CRISPR
• Ability to work well in collaborative Projects

Merits

Eligibility

Appointment to a post-doctoral position requires that the applicant has a PhD, or an international degree deemed equivalent to a PhD, within the subject of the position, completed no more than three years before the last date for applications. Under special circumstances, the doctoral degree can have been completed earlier.

Terms

This is a full-time, fixed-term employment of a maximum of 2 years. The period of employment is determined in accordance with the agreement “Avtal om tidsbegränsad anställning som postdoktor” (“Agreement on fixed-term employment as a post-doctoral fellow”) between Lund University, SACO-S, OFR/S and SEKO, dated 4 September 2008.
