We announce a Researcher position for two years within astronomy and astrophysics at the Department of Astronomy and Theoretical Physics.

The successful candidate will work in the planet formation team. This team is led by Anders Johansen, who has a large expertise and experience within the research area.

Work duties
The researcher will work on the dynamics of planetesimals and planets around young stars. The project involves development of an algorithm for fast computations of the gravity between a high number of planetesimals. This algorithm will be applied to study the dynamics of planetesimals and comets.

Qualifications
The applicant must hold a PhD in astrophysics and have a research profile within computational models for the dynamics of planetesimals. Experience with modelling the formation of comets is also required.
