Work assignment
The goal of the division is to conduct research, postgraduate and basic education in analytical chemistry, as well as the 3rd task. The specific project is about research in analytical chemistry, with a focus on supercritical chromatography linked to both high-resolution qualitative and low-resolution quantitative mass spectrometry. The aim of the project as a whole is to investigate the presence of pesticides and other chemicals in gardens, and to investigate how this affects biodiversity.

Research (90%)

Departmental duties: supervision of diploma students and maintenance of mass spectrometers (10%)

Qualifications
Education: MSc in Analytical Chemistry + PhD in Analytical Chemistry (or equivalent)

Extensive theoretical and practical experience in chromatography and mass spectrometry for quantitative analysis of low molecular weight molecules. The person should present a number of published scientific articles in analytical chemistry focusing on chromatography with mass spectrometric detection.

Practical experience in developing quantitative analytical methods with liquid chromatography and/or supercritical fluid chromatography with mass spectrometric detection.

Merits
It is a merit if the person has experience of a postdoctoral period of 1-2 years at a different educational institution than the person underwent basic education and/or postgraduate education.

It is a great merit if the person's published work is in the area of environmental analysis, since the intended project is about analysis of environmental pollution of various kinds.
