The research components include involvement in the CarboScale projet, where analysis of scaling factors for carbon balance and vegetation dynamics are central study fields.
30 % of the employment is for work within two projects related to digitization in socity (the Vinnova project FårJagLov and the SmartBuilt Environment project Forskningsplattform). These two projects are linked theroretically and methodically. The work implies development of theoretical models for information handling, the implementation of protoypes based on the models. It also includes supervision of one PhD student studying digitization of built environments.

Documented experience in computer programming.
A finished PhD oriented towards GIS and remote sensing according to the above specification.
Experience in teaching in GIS and remote sensing.
Experience with any of the following will be considered an advantage
Experience in handling of UAV helicopters and technical skills to handle the technical systems (UAV, cameras, multispectral sensors, and relevant software) is meriting for the position.
