Work duties

  • Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of the H2020 project WATERAGRI in close cooperation with the Project Coordinator, Professor Miklas Scholz.
  • Having a clear picture of the project’s deliverables and timelines, to ensure coordination among partners and timely delivery.
  • Ensuring completion of project documentation, keeping it updated and correctly filed.
  • Keeping track of the project’s budget and expenditure.
  • Ensuring communication between the partners of the project and associated members.
  • Organizing project meetings and development of technical project reports.
  • Participate in the co-ordination of activities with external stakeholders to ensure the success of the individual projects being part of WATERAGRI.

Qualifications
Applicants must have:

  • Management education or have a documented Project Management training.
  • Very good oral and written English skills.
  • Experience in H2020 research project management and knowledge of the financial aspects of H2020 projects.
  • Relationship building skills and experience of cooperation in diverse, international environment.
  • Experience to summarize meeting reports and a good ability to prioritize to ensure the delivery of reports in due course.
  • Understanding of the EU research and innovation framework and associated procedures.

Other merits:

  • Project management certification.
  • Experience in H2020 IT environment (Participant Portal, other EC services).
  • Good knowledge within one or more of the project’s other common used languages, e.g. German, French or Spanish.
  • Documented experience of writing, applying and obtaining research grants.
  • Experience about IPR concerns and ethical issues.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Consideration will also be given to good collaborative skills, drive and ability to work with diverse and remote teams and how the applicant’s experience and skills complement and strengthen the administrative work within the Division of Water Resources Engineering (TVRL) and the Department of Building and Environmental Technology, as well as contribute to their future development.

Terms of employment
Fixed-term employment, 2 years, 50%
