Researcher in sustainability

Subject description The research project centres on the three overarching themes of climate change, biodiversity loss, and health, all explored with a deep understanding for the complexity, uncertainty, risk, and urgency of socio-environmental challenges with the framework of Agenda 2030. Complexity, as one of the key aspects of social transformation, includes the complexity of actors and their increasingly challenging roles in processes of change, complexity of values and emotions, and complexity created by emerging technologies and platforms. Yet these complexities constitute not only hindrances, but also potentials for communication, both of which will be explored through a broad range of case studies framed within three themes. The aim of the project addresses these challenges through innovation, co-creation, and experimentation within the spheres of strategic communication, emerging technologies, multi-vocal arenas, and art-science interaction.
