The International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) is an international and interdisciplinary centre of excellence at Lund University. We advance knowledge to catalyze the transition to low-carbon and resource efficient economies across different levels of governance and management. We conduct research across the themes of international and national policy intervention, urban governance and experimentation, business management and practice, and consumption governance.

 

The IIIEE at Lund University seeks a research assistant to support the development of commissioned education courses and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) at the IIIEE. This work is to contribute to Lund University’s efforts to deepen interaction and collaboration with the public and private sectors, while supporting the university’s educational offerings. It is envisaged that educational packages will be created that combine distance and physical presence offerings. They will both draw upon, and extend, the IIIEE’s work with Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs).

 

Work duties

The employee will required to support the:

  • shaping of tailoring educational material for new learner groups;
  • coordination of work across various Lund University departments;
  • enhancement and ongoing delivery of IIIEE MOOCs;
  • educational market analysis in both private and public sectors.

 

Qualifications

  • MSc degree in the field of sustainability management, environmental management, business management or related fields.
  • Pedagogic experience and/or experience of work with educational teams
  • Experience of distance education and MOOCs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent skills in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work in an international teaching and research environment.

Terms of employment

Temporay position for 6-8 months starting in October 2020
