We offer to all of our new and recently employed associate senior lecturers an appealing career program – LTH Career Academy – that will support the participants in their career path within academia and strengthen their teaching and leadership skills.

The Division of Combustion Physics at the Department of Physics at Lund University, Faculty of Engineering, invites applications for a position as Associate senior lecturer in Physics with direction towards Laser diagnostics for characterization of soot particles.

Physics with direction towards Laser diagnostics for characterization of soot particles

Subject description
The subject is characterization of soot particles properties in terms of morphology, nano-structure and chemical properties, especially using optical and laser-based methods. Based on such knowledge, accurate measurement methods can be further developed and applied for measurements of, for example, particle sizes and concentrations in combustion applications as well as for remote sensing. Especially Raman scattering, absorption spectroscopy, and laser-induced incandescence are highly relevant techniques.
