The Research Group

The Epidemiology research group, led by associate professor Christel Nielsen, at Occupational and environmental medicine investigates how the external environment affects our health. Our research often combines data collection in the field with data from national population registers. A specific focus area is health effects in children and adults after exposure to the environmental contaminant PFAS. Read more about our research here

We are keen to safeguard a good work environment that allows for open discussions and where we care for each other’s well-being. We engage in equality work and consider differences to enrich our work place.

The research group is expanding and we are now searching for a research engineer to join our team. The employment is a full time position, time limited to 1 year, with the desired access date on February 1, 2021, or according to agreement.
