The salaried position as a post-doc is a two-year full-time employment at the Department of Business Administration, Lund University School of Economics and Management, Lund.
Description of the subject areas
The Department of Business Administration announces a vacancy for a post-doc within the project “Global search for science: How do multinational companies establish collaborations with distant universities?” and “Failure and progress in Science: How do early career experience and attitudes shape achievements of researchers?" – both funded by the Crafoord Foundation. The first project aims to investigate the drivers of the establishment of international collaborations with distant universities by multinational companies. The second project will study the role of failure in science. It aims to explore the pattern of failure experienced and attitudes towards failure nurtured in different organisational and institutional contexts, and to examine the impact of failure experiences and attitudes on scientific performance. Work tasks
The post-doc is expected to actively participate in the research projects by doing research (together with the other project participants) and thereby contribute to the project objectives by writing and publishing research articles based on the empirical results obtained. More specifically, the selected candidate is expected to participate mainly in the data collection and analyses using econometric models. The post-doc will be provided with necessary equipment and an office space at the department.
