Requirements profile
Senior lecturer / lecturer in service studies focusing on tourism and the hospitality industry
We are looking for at least one university lecturer or at least one associate senior lecturer who will be part of and strengthen the department's teaching and research in tourism and the hospitality industry, preferably with a focus on destination development. In addition, knowledge of innovation and value creation is generally an advantage and give special priority if this knowledge is aimed at tourism and the hospitality industry.

Tasks
The tasks include:
• teach at a basic and advanced level. The teaching work can also include being
course coordinator.
• develop the department's research and research environment in the above-mentioned areas

Competence
Eligible to be employed as a university lecturer is the person who has completed a doctorate within service studies, tourism science, sociology, cultural geography, ethnology or business administration. Eligible to employed as a university lecturer is one who has completed a degree at advanced level and has another competence that is important with regard to the subject of the employment and the tasks included in
the employment.

We are happy to see that you have teaching experience and conducted research in tourism and the hospitality industry.
In addition, you are required to meet the requirements for pedagogical skills and have completed university pedagogy training of at least five weeks or otherwise acquired knowledge. other requirements

Very good knowledge of Swedish or other Scandinavian language and English in speech and writing.

Assessment criteria
When employed as a university lecturer / assistant professor, the following shall form the basis for assessment:
• good teaching ability
• good ability to develop and carry out research
• pedagogical skills
• preferably experience of teaching from multidisciplinary environments as well
• ability to participate actively in developing the business and have a good ability to work together.

Documented experience of teaching and course management as well as research in the above-mentioned areas is meritorious.
