Lund Stem Cell Center (SCC) is a world-leading center for stem cell research with the mission of transferring basic science findings to the clinic in order to make a fundamental difference to improve human health. Established in 2008, SCC now consists of 36 outstanding research groups, all performing fundamental, multidisciplinary research. Research at SCC is diverse and covers several aspects of developmental and stem cell biology, including but not limited to restorative neurology, hematopoiesis, endocrine cell differentiation, lung bioengineering and bone formation processes. We are hereby looking for a driven grant manager to assist in the grant application processe. The employment is a full time position, time limited to two years, with the desired access date on March 1, 2021, or by agreement.
Work duties and area of expertise
Lund Stem Cell Center (SCC) is looking for a Grant Manager with appropriate professional experience to assist in grant application processes: from the identification of suitable funding calls (national and international) and project application, to project management and reporting, i.e. both pre-award and post-award. As the center’s Grant Manager, you will regularly interact with SCC Principal Investigators, administrative staff, communication officers, innovation managers, funding organisations, economists and bibliometricians. Overall, you will have a central role in contributing towards the common goals of SCC, such as strengthening collaborations and increasing the retention of young Principal Investigators and technical staff. The role is high profile and demands initiative, creativity and a broad interest in research and ambition.
