The research group
The research group is now seeking the addition of a project assistant for a position aimed at cancer and infection. Take the opportunity to follow a new drug discovery from molecular mechanisms and animal models to clinical trials. The lab has an international working environment and offers great opportunities to develop a scientific career. We are hereby looking for a driven project assistant to assist with various tasks in the research group. The employment is a full time position, time limited to 1 year, with the desired access date on January 1, 2021, or by agreement.
Work duties and area of expertise
To conduct experimental studies using cell biology and cancer biology techniques, focusing on questions about cell death mechanisms. To compare the properties of known anti-cancer agents to novel discoveries, using these techniques and protein-peptide technology. To interact with and assist senior group members in experiments relating to cancer biology. To participate in group meetings, read scientific literature and write reports.
Qualifications
The position requires:
- Master of Science in Molecular Biology
- Experience of the methodology specified above
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities. The tasks require that you have a good ability to collaborate and can work independently.
