The research is based on resource-efficient technology for sustainable development. The research is conducted in collaboration with other national and international academic research groups and companies.
Subject description
The research subject Water and Environmental Engineering includes studies concerning both chemical engineering and biotechnological processes. Central elements are experimental investigations and analysis in mechanical, biological and chemical treatment systems for wastewater. For this position, the focus is on advanced treatment and refers to the separation and degradation of organic micro-pollutants, such as pharmaceutical substances and biocides.
Work duties
The work duties as a researcher mainly include conducting research in the subject area. Teaching will be included in the tasks, but not more than one-fifth of the working hours. Opportunity for training in higher education teaching and learning will be offered.
