Job assignments
Teaching and course leadership on the master’s course ”Digital Media Research” at Graduate School. Teaching on the course ”Contemporary South-East Asian Societies”, that is part of the master’s program in Asian Studies at the Centre for East and South-East Asian Studies. Supervision of master’s theses in Media and Communication Studies.
Eligibility/Entry Requirements
To qualify for appointment as a lecturer, you must have a masters degree. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate documented teaching competence.
Further qualifications are experience of qualitative textual analysis, visual methodology and the use of photography in researching digital media is a requirement. Deep area knowledge of South-East Asia and teaching experience in South-East Asian Studies, as well as in the popular culture and the creative scene of this area, is a requirement. Teaching experience in Media Studies and an ability to teach in English is also a requirement for this position.
This is a temporary position for 5 months.
