Work duties The project assistant will work in two ongoing research projects at the Department: 1. a pilot project on creating a socio-legal framework for social robotics research, where the assistant will help with finding relevant literature, be part of designing scenarios addressing fairness in social robotics, particularly with regards to gender, and to co-write a report; 2. AI transparency and Consumer Trust, where the assistant will help the PI with planning meetings and coming empirical studies, and more.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor level degree and four years worth of studies including social scientific, gender or legal domain.
  • Experience in or knowledge of social robotics as a research domain, legal studies or sociology of law in relation to AI.
  • Very good oral and written proficiency in English.

Other merits

  • Education: interdisciplinary, with experience of societal concerns of AI-systems.
  • Work experience as a project assistant, including proof-reading of academic texts etc.
  • Academic internship (15-30 credits) in AI-related field.

Terms of employment Fixed-term employment, 50 %, from as soon as possible to 31 December 2021.
