Project assisstant in Transport and Roads - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

The Research Assistant has to carry out a number of activities connected to the project “ACE-RAIL: AcCEssibility analysis and distributional effects connected to the regional RAILway investments”, financed by Trafikverket.

The project aims to analyze the distributional impacts connected to regional railway investments, both looking at the changes in job accessibility that they have brought, and at the effects on the real estate markets across Sweden.

More specifically, the work duties involved are:

• Literature review within the subject area
• Working with a combination of three larges Swedish datasets
• Performing accessibility analysis & spatial analysis
• Statistical regression models
• Involvement in one scientific article

 Qualifications

• Master degree and equivalent research qualification within the subject of the position.
• Very good oral and written proficiency in English.

Other merits

• Prior experience with statistical analysis, spatial analysis and spatial statistics
• Programming skills
• Basic knowledge of Swedish

Terms of employment Fixed-term employment, 50 %, 10 months.
