Project assistant in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on ultrasound technology - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Work duties

Participate in research projects in vascular and plaque characterization. The work consists of administratively and operationally supporting the implementation of a sub-study in consultation with other project participants, and to be helpful when the project is to be documented and communicated.

Furthermore, the project assistant's role is to support the daily work in the research project. These duties include, but is not limited to:

• participate in editing research-related texts in English
• perform experimental measurements
• perform measurement on collected data
• contribute to statistical analysis

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of English, in speech and writing.
• Good knowledge and skills about signal and image processing in diagnostic ultrasound.
• Good knowledge of mathematics and frequency analysis.
• Good knowledge of MATLAB programming.

Other merits

• Experience in tissue analysis with high-frequency ultrasound
• Experience in developing graphical user interfaces
• Experience of interdisciplinary collaborations
