The research group

The research group for Clinical Memory Research conducts research in dementia. Research has been at the forefront in this area for many years, including world-leading research in Alzheimer’s disease. More information can be found here: https://biofinder.se.The research group is led by Professor Oskar Hansson. This position will be placed at BMC in Lund.

We currently seek a project assistant for a temporary full-time position of 8 months, starting the 1st of October 2021, or according to agreement.

Work duties

The project assistant will be responsible for analysis of patient samples with the main focus on the analysis of plasma samples for P-tau. Other assignments within the research group may also occur.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

Master of Science within biomedical science, medicine or a related field
Experience with immunoassays
Proficiency in oral and written communication in English

We are looking for someone who is patient, detail-oriented and precise. We require good collaborative skills but also the ability to work independently.

Previous experience with immunoassay development
