The University has around 47 000 students and more than 8 800 staff based in Lund, Helsingborg and Malmö. We are united in our efforts to understand, explain and improve our world and the human condition.
Lund University welcomes applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences. We regard gender equality and diversity as a strength and an asset.
In the research group Neural Stem Cells, we conduct research on how the brain develops. For several years, our research has been at the forefront of the stem cell field. We use reprogramming, iPS cells, stem cells and neural differentiation to create and study models of human brain development. Furthermore, we use the knowledge we develop about human neural stem cells to develop new cell-based treatments. The group is led by Professor Anna Falk and consists of both researchers and technical staff. We are located at the Biomedical Center in Lund. Here you can read more about our exciting research: https://www.stemcellcenter.lu.se/research-groups/falk
We safeguard a good work environment with respect, clarity and compassion in our relationships with each other. We work constantly to create good conditions for job satisfaction, development and participation for all employees.
