About the position
Many contemporary actors struggle to grasp the relevance of climate transformations for themselves. When people and organisations cannot imagine themselves as agents, transitions become intangible, abstract, and out of reach. In order to make climate futures graspable there is a need for telling nuanced, place-specific stories about how our lives will change. The position is related to ongoing research within projects such as ’Climate Imaginaries”, FutureWalks, The Rough Guide to Zero-Carbon Skåne, and the collaborative initiative Narrating Climate Futures.
We are looking for people with a profile that contains:
• Experience with design and implementation of (participatory) futures-oriented methodologies.
• Experience with workshop design and facilitation for diverse stakeholder groups, using online tools
• Familiarity with publication design, editorial and production processes
• Ability to analyse and synthesize workshop outcomes to create outputs suitable for use in continued research
• Familiarity with Storytelling / narrative design methods
• Strong interest in and experience of interdisciplinary research on environmental issues.
Qualifications
• Excellent command of English and Swedish (oral and written)
• PhD in Political Science, Planning and Decision analysis or similar.
. Creative writing skills are desirable
