Subject description
Research in physical chemistry, directed towards theoretical studies of collective phenomena in active matter. The methods include large-scale numerical simulations, kinetic theory, and machine learning. The work duties can also include supervision of diploma students and PhD students.
Qualification requirements
Applicants must have:
Assessment criteria and other qualifications
Research experience in collective phenomena in active matter. Knowledge about hydrodynamic simulation techniques, especially Lattice Boltzmann simulations.
Consideration will also be given to good collaborative skills, drive and independence, and how the applicant’s experience and skills complement and strengthen ongoing research within the department, and how they stand to contribute to its future development.
Terms of employment
