About the research group

The research group in the Experimental Pathology unit conducts research in the field of cancer, and in particular new ways of counteracting the spread of cancer and the formation of metastases. The research has been at the forefront of this area for several years and the results from this work have led to several clinical trials of a new drug candidate that is intended to stop metastasis. The group is led by Professor Tommy Andersson and consists of researchers at the postdoctoral level and technical staff. The laboratory of the research group is located at CRC in Malmö.
