Work assignments
The employment refers to work that aims to complete experiments and analyzes within two projects and the start of a project concerning the role of the immune system in metastatic breast cancer (MBC).

In one project, the levels of 90 onco-immunologically relevant factors were analyzed in serum from patients with newly diagnosed MBC. Data have been partially analyzed by a bioinformatics expert, but need to be compiled and summarized in a script.

In a second project, immune cells in breast tumors and matching daughter tumors in lymph nodes and other organs are analyzed using immunohistochemistry. Levels and localizations of specific immune cell populations such as T lymphocytes and macrophages should be determined, analyzed in relation to clinical parameters and compiled.

In a third, long-term project, immune cells are analyzed in blood samples from patients with MBC. As these samples are only received sporadically, the work on this project will take place in parallel with the other two.
