Subject description
The research group works with ultrafast spectroscopy to study light-induced processes in new solar energy materials. Specifically, in this project conceptual framework of novel spectroscopy based on entangled photons will be developed. The project is mostly theoretical but will be carried out in close collaboration with experimental activities of the group.
Work duties
The main duties involved in a post-doctoral posistion is to conduct research. The postdoc will be responsible for conceptual development of the entangled photon spectroscopy methodology having in mind the ongoing and possible future experimental developments within the reserch group.
Qualification requirements
Appointment to a post-doctoral position requires that the applicant has a PhD, or an international degree deemed equivalent to a PhD, within the subject of the position, completed no more than three years before the last date for applications. Particular emphasis will be placed on research skills within the subject.
For appointments to a post-doctoral position, the following shall form the assessment criteria:
Additional assessment criteria:
Earlier experience in quantum information, quantum optics and nonlinear optical response theory are strongly meriting.
Experience with ultrafast spectroscopy, both practical and conceptual, is a merit.
Consideration will also be given to good collaborative skills, drive and independence, and how the applicant’s experience and skills complement and strengthen ongoing research within the department, and how they stand to contribute to its future development.
