The department of Mechanical Engineering Sciences at Lund University, Faculty of Engineering invites applications for a position as Associate Senior Lecturer in Mechanics of Materials

Subject
Mechanics of Materials

Subject description
Mechanics of Materials concerns the material- and structure-specific response in different thermomechanical load situations.
Specifically, the focus is on modeling materials at the atomistic level through atomic and ab initio simulations. The purpose is to present theories and methods for multi-scale modeling of materials and to describe relationships between atomistic and continuum mechanical descriptions.
