Work duties                      
You will participate in research projects in vascular and plaque characterization. The work consists of administratively and operationally supporting the implementation of a sub-study in consultation with other project participants, and to be helpful when the project is to be documented and communicated.

Furthermore, your role as a project assistant is to support the daily work in the research project. These duties include, but is not limited to:

  • participate in editing research-related texts in English
  • perform experimental measurements
  • perform measurement on collected data
  • contribute to statistical analysis

Qualifications  

Required qualifications for the position are:

  • Good knowledge of English, in speech and in writing.
  • Good knowledge and skills about signal and image processing in diagnostic ultrasound.
  • Good knowledge of mathematics and frequency analysis.
  • Good knowledge of MATLAB programming.

Additional qualifications for the position are:

  • Experience in ultrasound based tissue analysis
  • Experience in developing graphical user interfaces
  • Experience of experimental research

Consideration will also be given to good collaboration ability, drive and independence, as well as how the applicant, through his experience and competence, is judged to complement and strengthen ongoing research within the department and contribute to its future development.

Further information 
The position is a fixed term position for four months at 100 % of full time and starting May 1, 2022, or by agreement.
