Description of the workplace
The research group for "Vascular Biology" conducts research in sphingosine-1-phosphate signaling during cardiovascular diseases. The group is led by Anja Meissner and consists of researchers and the student. The operation is located at the Biomedical Center in Lund. The desired starting date is 01.06.2022 or by agreement.

Work duties and area of responsibilities
The candidate is responsible for the investigation of cellular signaling pathways and pathophysiological mechanisms, underlying pathogenic changes in the brain during cardiovascular diseases (especially during high blood pressure, heart failure or stroke). To identify potential target structures for new therapies, a variety of in vivo and ex vivo methods are used.

The employment is a fulltime, fixed-term position, during a period of one year. Preliminary starting date is 2022-06-01 or according to agreements.
This role includes project-specific mobility required between Germany and Sweden.
