The Department of Psychology is now looking for a Senior Lecturer in Work and Organizational Psychology

Tasks
The position involves teaching, supervision and examination with a focus on work and organizational psychology within the framework of independent courses, the Behavioral Sciences program, Human Resources, Master of Science Program in Psychology and / or the Psychologist program. The teaching assignment, course development and course administration can also be included in the teaching assignment. Teaching can occur in other areas of psychology such as. social psychology, general psychology and scientific method.

The department's courses are mainly given on campus, which requires attendance in Lund several days a week. The teaching and examinations take place in Swedish and in English, which is why good knowledge of both speech and writing in any Scandinavian language, as well as English is necessary.

The tasks also include research, collaboration, participation in the department's work to generate external research funding, and to promote the department's infrastructure and development work.

Eligibility
Eligible to be employed as a university lecturer is a person who has completed a doctoral degree in psychology, demonstrated pedagogical skills in teaching, completed a university pedagogical education comprising five weeks or acquired equivalent knowledge. If there are special reasons, part of the higher education pedagogical education can be completed during the first year of employment. Eligibility requires documented ability to teach in Swedish / Scandinavian and English.

Assessment criteria
When selecting among eligible applicants, scientific and pedagogical skills will be given equal weight. Furthermore, administrative skills are also important for the employment. The pedagogical skills must be well documented. When assessing pedagogical skills, pedagogical quality must primarily be taken into account. Extent, both width and depth, must also be given importance.

In terms of specialization, teaching experience in work and organizational psychology is particularly meritorious. Teaching experience in social psychology with a connection to a work and organizational or professional context is also an advantage.

Furthermore, documented ability to plan, initiate, lead and develop teaching, as well as the ability to link research to teaching must be given importance. Documented ability to contribute to work regarding higher education pedagogical development and educational quality is included in the pedagogical skills. In assessing the scientific skill, special emphasis will be placed on research activity (scope / scientific quality), ability to initiate and conduct research independently, ability to obtain funding for research in national competition, as well as demonstrated ability to interact both within science and with the surrounding society in the field of work and organizational psychology.

The current position includes teaching and examination within the framework of education in the Psychology, HR and Behavioral Sciences program. This also results in the applicants' qualifications regarding their own professional experience, professional competence and experience of research and development in areas such as e.g. work environment / occupational health care, organizational development, recruitment / personal assessment, group processes, leadership, as well as training and development or the like are given importance.

Administrative skills are demonstrated through the ability to course planning, course development and course responsibility as well as through the ability to collaborate in both teaching and research. Administrative skills are important for the job and will be given importance.

Personal qualities such as accuracy, ability to take responsibility and the ability to cooperate are considered important to fulfill the job well. Personal circumstances (eg parental leave) that can be credited to the applicant in the merit evaluation should be stated in connection with the account of merits and experiences.
