Subject description
The aim of the project is to apply temperature-dependent luminescence spectroscopy to study charge dynamics in semiconductors (III/V nanowires and perovskites) excited by varied excitation conditions in terms of the laser pulse energy and frequency.

Work duties

Detailed description of the work duties:

  • Research within the subject area
  • Writing scientific papers, reports
  • Supervision of degree projects and doctoral students
  • Technical service of the laser lab
  • Further development of the luminescence microscopy setup

Qualification requirements
Applicants must have:

  • A PhD in physics/optics/laser physics
  • Previous postdoc position(s) in academia in the field close to the project,
  • A strong background in luminescence microscopy spectroscopy and semiconductor physics and previous experience with cryogenic measurements.
  • Experience in optical spectroscopy of metal halide perovskites
  • Programming skills in Matlab
  • Extensive experience in working in laser labs.
  • Very good oral and written proficiency in English.

Consideration will also be given to good collaborative skills, drive and independence, and how the applicant’s experience and skills complement and strengthen ongoing research within the department, and how they stand to contribute to its future development.
