Description of the workplace

The researcher position is positioned at the division for Nanobiotechnology where the key activities are directed towards microfluidics and lab-on-a-chip technologies. The division holds a frontier position in acoustofluidics research with focus on both fundamental fluid physics in acoustic fields and life science applications of acoustofluidics:
Nanobiotechnology and lab-on-a-chip

The research is closely linked to the medical faculty within both preclinical and clinical queries, with a goal to develop new technology for sorting, manipulation and analysis of cells and other biological particles. The research is performed in laboratories both at LTH and at the Biomedical Center at Lund University.  The department also hosts an infrastructure resource to support the development of microfluidic and lab-on-a-chip systems for research groups at Lund University. Within the research group, we work closely together, we are generous with ideas and share our knowledge.

We offer

Lund University is a public authority which means that employees get particular benefits, generous annual leave and an advantageous occupational pension scheme.
